Due to expansion across a range of services, Kalamunda Plumbing has an opportunity for a fulltime Plumbing Trades Assistant with prior experience of working within the Property Maintenance, or Building Construction Sectors.

We offer an excellent opportunity for a Plumbing Trades Assistant to join our experienced team who attend to a variety of interesting work that is done thoroughly and with more pride than most everyday plumbing companies. The work we do is very rewarding and the service we provide makes a big difference to our customers and their families.
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- General assistant to plumbing team members,
- Digging, backfilling, and levelling,
- Small concreting and repaving tasks,
- Site clean-ups, including high pressure cleaning,
- Using hand-tools and equipment,
- Pick ups and deliveries using Company vehicle,
- Keeping warehouse, yard, and offices clean and tidy,
- Keeping vehicle fleet and equipment clean and tidy,
- Working safely at all times.
Candidates must be:
- Physically fit, hardworking, reliable, and punctual,
- Comfortable working on roofs and within roof spaces,
- Neatly presented and have good communication skills,
- Able to work in a team environment and take direction,
- Able to work by themselves from time-to-time,
- Willing and able to learn new skills.
Candidates must have:
- West Australian C-Class Manual Driver’s License,
- Construction White Card,
- National Police Clearance.
We provide:
- Attractive hourly rate by negotiation,
- Minimum 38-hour week, 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday,
- Paid overtime and penalty rates,
- Monthly paid rostered day off,
- Flexible working week (time off in lieu of overtime),
- Normal provisions for Annual Leave, Public Holidays, Sickies, Super,
- Uniforms, safety boots, and PPE as necessary,
- High Risk Safety Courses as required, to keep you safe,
