IRRESPONSIBLE TIMEWAISTERS and LIARS. I'm Really frustrated and dissappointed. I had today the most bizarre and unpleasant experience with Kalamunda Plumbing that i ever had with a servicing company in my whole life. It all started well simply with booking over the phone when I was promissed that the tech will come between 3 and 5 and he will call me before comming on that day, I had to leave work early to meet them; however, around 3.10 I called them to the phone# on their website and said that I havent received a call back yet and that I was was wondering if the technician is still coming or not to which I was told by a female voice that he is definitely comming at 4.30 so I waited till about 4.40. No one called and no one showed up, so I called them again, and said that I still havent received a call from the technician that was meant to come over and I asked whether he is still comming or not, it was I think Steve he said his name was who said that yes, Dave is definitely comming. So I waited again till around 4.55 and called them to ask if he is really comming or not to which they said he was on the street right next to me. I also asked what time their technicians work untill and I was told they work till 5pm, which made really wonder whether he was going via the street right next to me to his home or to mine.... all this time i was holding phone in my hand. Few minutes later I received that missed call from an unknown mobile number, howerer no one really called, all it was, that this person, pressed on the phone button and then stopped the call right away so that it registers in his phone records that he indeeed call me. I saw that missed call record popping up and called his back right away to which he said that he was knowcking on the door but one one opened it. I told him that my door is open and i could see everyone because i am at home waiting, to which he decided to say *oh i got a wrong address but i will be back now*. To which i said *ok, see you*. A few minutes later...... no it wasnt the technician, it was Steve i think he said his name was, who called me and said I abused their techinian Dave and he is no longer comming.......... I told him it is a lie and i suspect he did it on purpose because it was already 5pm. I laso asked that Steeve what address they had written down for me, but he didnt reply to that question......... At the end of the day...... the out come: I skipped my own work, waisted 3 hours of my life waiting for them, got myself abused by being called an abuser *what a sircus* for no good reason, and I didnt receive any appologies at all for all the lie upon lie ride that they took me on a friday afternoon that I could spend sooooooo much better this. Kalamunda Plumbing, if you are reading this, normal people simply say right away that they are running out of time and can't make it to the appointmet and they appologise for it. Write it down somewhere.
Response from the owner:Hello Lidiya, Thank you for your feedback. I'm presuming this is in regards to Anna. It's feedback in its many forms that helps us to refine our processes and to understand our customers better, and, in turn, enables us to provide the sort of service that our many customers have come to appreciate I can confirm that your job was scheduled for Friday 31st October with arrival suggested between 3pm and 5pm, and a note to attend as close to 5pm as possible, at your request. Other than our first job of the day, we cannot and do not give exact arrival times, as we give every job our full attention (some jobs run over time, due to their complexity). We advise our customers during booking that we will give them a call when our plumber has completed his previous job, so that the client has 10-15minutes notice (or more, depending on the distance between jobs), and so that they do not need to leave work earlier than is necessary. We apologise that, on this occasion, it did not happen. Notwithstanding, we had spoken to you about 30 minutes prior, saying that he was still coming. Unfortunately, when our plumber arrived (our satellite tracking had him in your street at 4.59pm), it was at number 18 (one-eight) instead of your address at 1a (one-a), as he misheard our direction (he mistook the “a” for “8”). Sometimes, mobile phone service can be a bit “scratchy”. When he tried to call you to confirm your address, he got no response (he thought he had been knocking on your front door). When you called him back, you sounded agitated and disbelieved him, because you were standing at your front door and said you couldn’t see him. You would not let him speak to confirm the correct address. Our plumber then phoned our office to confirm the correct address and to describe the nature of the phone conversation he had had with you. Our Service Manager (Cameron) then called you and tried to smooth things over. However, following your continued apparent antagonism, including with our Service Manager, our General Manager (Chris) made the uncomfortable decision to cancel service to your address, as he believed the situation had deteriorated beyond reason and he didn’t want to expose our employees to further aggression (his impression and choice). This cancellation was based on our belief that, at work, no one deserves to be made to feel uncomfortable and called a liar, when clearly the opposite was true, whilst simply trying to meet your requirement of attending your home to give you a FREE quotation, and “as close to 5pm as possible”. Furthermore, we do not have set knock-off times for our employees (such as 5pm), other than for our office staff. As it is our Company Policy that once a job has been allocated and attended, our Field Staff will work on until each job or enquiry has been successfully concluded. Customers are the most important factors in our business, and Customer Service is at the forefront of our business model. And so, we encourage each and every team member to be an advocate for our customers. However, there comes a time when we sometimes have to say “no” to customers who we feel are trying to harass or intimidate our team members (our perception). Nevertheless, we wish you well and once again apologize for our part in this situation. But yes, we will take on-board all points that you have made, and endeavour to improve our services for existing and future clients.

It all began in 1954, when Wally Jones set out with a simple vision: to build a plumbing business based on trust, honesty and always being there for his customers. That promise still drives us today, and just like Wally, we’re here when you need us most.

What is your Hot Water Guarantee?

If you have no hot water and agree to buy a new Solar Hot Water System from Kalamunda Plumbing, weather permitting, we’ll either fast-track the installation, or provide a temporary water heater (at no extra cost to you) by the end of the next Business Day. Otherwise, we will deduct $125 from the price of your new Solar HWS. Full unrestricted access must be available to install either the solar hot water system, or temporary water heater.

For over 30 years, customers, as well manufacturers and importers, have been trusting us to install, service, and repair their solar hot water systems. Our highly experienced tradies will take the time to talk to you about your hot water requirements and provide you with a detailed proposal setting out a range of priced options that will maximise your savings.

In addition to the Manufacturer’s Warranty, we cover the electrical components (element and thermostat) and temperature-pressure relief (TPR) valve fitted to the solar tank, for a full 5 years (from date of original installation), inclusive of labour.

Payment can be made by Credit Card or EFT, or Brighte Finance Green Loan is available. A $500 deposit is required upon acceptance, with the balance payable upon installation.What does your Free annual check-up cover?
